The Fort Langley Youth Rowing Society Club Program is a year-long (12 month) program. Over the year, youth rowers train and develop their rowing skills while learning and experiencing the value of teamwork, commitment, and camaraderie. Fees are based on rowers participating for the entire 12 months. At this time, we do not offer a part-time option. An overview of the program is as follows:
3 times per week after school and Saturday mornings
On water training
3 times per week after school and Saturday mornings
Indoor training due to inadequate daylight and inclement weather conditions; On water training on Saturdays, weather permitting
Focus is on rowing specific dry-land training with significant time spent on indoor rowing machines (ergometers)
3 times per week after school and Saturday mornings
Focus is on preparing for spring regattas (racing)
On water training
Monday through Friday - 1.5 hours per day
Focus is on improving technical skills
On water training
